Following the success of its previous edition held in April, the next “Style Bangkok” will be bigger with more booths and exhibitors ready to bring their latest lifestyle products to attract buyers from across the globe in Thailand next week.

Organised by the Ministry of Commerce’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), the third edition of the international consumer goods trade fair will take place at Bitec Hall 98-105, Bang Na-Trat Road, from Oct 17 until 21. The trade days are Oct 17 until 19, 10am-6pm, while members of the general public are invited on Oct 20 and 21, 10am-9pm.

The five-day event is a combination of three international trade fairs — the Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair (BIFF&BIL); Bangkok International Gifts and Bangkok International Houseware Fair (BIG+BIH); and Thailand International Furniture Fair (TIFF).

Held under the theme “Crenovative Origin: Local Wisdom, Stylish Creativity”, the fair will feature the largest number of lifestyle products from fashion items to leather products, gifts, houseware and furniture, from nearly 600 local entrepreneurs and 150 companies overseas.

This year’s event will focus on businesses related to lifestyle products such as hotels and real estate, as well as architects and interior designers. Visitors can get updated on the latest trends of products and lifestyle ideas from several categories. A number of special exhibitions will also be presented, including “Creative Asia”, which

displays furniture by up-and-coming designers from all over Asia, the “T-Style”, which showcases fashion and lifestyle products by Thai designers, and the “Innovation And Design Zone”, featuring the latest designs and innovations.

Also being held is the “Functional Textile” exhibition, where new possibilities for textile products will be discovered; “Creative Asian”, gathering Asia’s top talented designers; “Creative Services”, which explores the potential of new Thai creations from wellness to medical industries, character licensing, printing and packaging; and “The Niche Markets”, featuring a cluster of exhibitions of specific products for mothers and kids, pets, the elderly and best-designed Otop products.

Another highlight is “The Residence”, which exhibits a collection of the best works in design, art and lifestyle products in Thailand.
