Thailand’s grande dame of jazz Kamala Sukosol and her family bring all the glitz and glamour of Broadway and Hollywood to her latest charity concert, which will be staged at Sukosol Hotel, Si Ayutthaya Road, from Thursday, Nov 15 until Saturday, Nov 17, starting at 8pm.

“Kamala Live In Concert” will feature the stars’ inimitable flair and onstage charisma in full Broadway style. Listen to her stunning rendition of I Will Survive and a bossa nova version of her smash hit Live & Learn.

The concert will open with The Greatest Show from blockbuste­r musical The Greatest Showman, performed by Kamala’s youngest son, Noi Krissada. He will also perform A Million Dreams, a touching duet from the same film, with his 11-year-old son Finnegan, as well as a number of tracks from his recently released second album.

In what promises to be an unforgetta­ble show, the big-band orchestra will be conducted by Piti Kayoonpan while Tanee Poonsuwan leads a fantastic chorus of singers. A troupe of beautiful dancers from the Aree School of Dance Arts rounds out the roster.

Tickets cost 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, 3,000 and 3,500 baht for Nov 15 and 17; and 45,000 and 50,000 baht per table of 10 for the gala dinner show on Nov 16. Proceeds will go to the Thai Red Cross Society’s Princess Sirindhorn Craniofaci­al Center providing critical healthcare to underprivi­leged Thai children suffering from severe facial deformitie­s.
