HONDA ACCORD Price: 1.4-1.8 million baht (est)

Honda is teasing the public with the all-new Accord ahead of an official introducti­on early next year. Specs have yet to be revealed, although pure petrol and hybrid versions can be expected in the hatch-like family car.

HYUNDAI KONA ELECTRIC Price: 2 million baht (est)

Following the Ioniq all-electric hatchback, Hyundai has added a second model to its Thai EV portfolio. The Kona Electric is a B-segment SUV with a driving range of either 312km or 485km depending on the size of the battery.

NISSAN LEAF Price: 1.99 million baht

After wooing the Thai public at two previous motor shows, the all-electric Nissan Leaf finally goes on sale. The C-segment-sized EV is powered by 150hp electric motor and is rated officially with 311km of driving range.

SUBARU FORESTER Price: 1.5 million baht (est)

After launching the all-new XV SUV a year ago, Subaru is doing likewise for the more functional Forester. Under the bonnet is an improved 2.0litre flat-four petrol engine and CVT automatic driving all four wheels.

HONDA CIVIC Price: 874,000-1.219 million baht

Honda’s C-segment contender has been given a mid-life update including tweaked front design and new set of driver-assist tech. The 141hp 1.8-litre petrol and 173hp 1.5-litre petrol-turbo engines are carried over.

MITSUBISHI TRITON Price: 524,000 to 1.099 million baht

The Triton model range has been extensivel­y revised with a new face and an array of driverassi­st technologi­es for both on- and off-road. The 2.4-litre diesel remains the same, but there’s a new six-speed automatic gearbox.

NISSAN TEANA Price: 1.399-1.674 million baht

Rather than being redesigned completely, the Teana gets a belated facelift to bring its looks in line with the brand’s latest design DNA. There are more driving aids, but the 136hp 2.0-litre and 173hp 2.5-litre petrol units are unchanged.

TOYOTA CAMRY Price: 1.445-1.799 million baht

Market leader Toyota is highlighti­ng the all-new Camry with an all-new platform and three petrol engines to choose from: 167hp 2.0-litre, 209hp 2.5-litre and 211hp 2.5-litre hybrid. The latter two are new developmen­ts.
