Fans of the Korean talent show Produce 101 Season 2 are in for a treat, with popular contestant Kwon Hyun-bin arriving in Bangkok in just two weeks.

The strikingly tall 22-year-old entertainer started off as a model before trying his hand at singing and dancing in 2017’s season of Produce 101.

After the show, he became a rapper with JBJ, a temporary sextet, which played a sold-out concert in Bangkok early last year. His signature deep voice helped him and the group’s music stand out.

Recently, Hyun-bin has returned to the stage as a solo singer, with the new name Viini. He released the four-track EP Dimension two months ago. It features the self-penned lead single Genie, and the tracks Bittersweet, Bad and Affection, all of which display the great improvements he has made in his singing.

On the back of the enthusiastic welcome from Thai fans at his first solo fan meeting last September, Hyun-bin is back for more with “2019 Viiniful Day In Bangkok”. This second fan meeting will take place at the Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, on Oct 26 starting at 6pm.

A collaboration between RegiStar and YGX Entertainment of Korea, the event will see Hyunbin perform several songs, as well as engage in fun activities with fans to give them a chance to find out more about him.

Tickets cost 2,500, 3,900 and 5,500 baht and will be available for online purchase on Saturday from 10am onwards at registarthailand.com.
