Sharing is caring
From UNHCR and LIFEiS Group, comes “LIFEiS Beautiful — No Boundaries For Sharing”, a lifestyle event organised to raise funds in support of the response to the current global refugee crisis, at Lido Connect, Rama I on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 10pm.
The event is a forum for business enterprises and individuals, particularly young people, to use their creativity and expertise to help refugees. Over the two days, the festival will offer an array of activities and entertainment, featuring top Thai talents helping to promote a culture of sharing within the community.
“LIFEiS Beautiful — No Boundaries For Sharing” will feature a food market, a flea market, street art, a visual art performance by Kob Kor Bor Vor and NEV3R, live music, DJ sets, a Refugee Housing Unit display and a range of other fun and creative activities.
Exclusively for the event, special edition tote bags have been designed: An Officer Dies (Golf Thitipoom), Benzilla (Benz Parinya), Happy Pomme Studio (Pomme Tachamapan), Phannapast Taychamaythakool and Rukkit Kuanhawate. For every purchase of a tote bag, a stationery set will be donated to refugee children in Thailand.
Another highlight will be the charity concert “Pass The Love FWD — No. 2”, with Nop Ponchamni and special guests YKPB, 2 Days Ago Kids and Triumphs Kingdom. This will take place on Sunday at 2pm and again at 7pm.
“LIFEiS Beautiful — No Boundaries For Sharing” is supported by the Documentary Club, who will be screening a series of feel-good films and refugee documentaries over the course of four Sundays from Nov 17 until Dec 8. The line-up includes Life Is Beautiful, Capernaum, Lost And Found and Midnight Traveler.
Tickets for the charity concert cost 1,600 and 2,100 baht and can be purchased from thaiticketmajor. com. For movie tickets, visit ticketmelon.com.
