ART AFTERNOON TEA / LAKORN EUROPEAN BRASSERIE / UNTIL DEC 7

Rosewood Bangkok showcases the art and social conscience of Vipoo Srivilasa, with his eagerly anticipate­d first solo exhibition in Thailand in four years taking place at the hotel’s Art Connection space and an “Art Afternoon Tea” at Lakorn European Brasserie that matches Vipoo’s artistic representa­tion of the multi-faceted aspects of love, throughout this month. Vipoo collaborat­ed with executive pastry chef Florian Couteau to deliver an “Art Afternoon Tea” that is edible homage to love, diversity and equality, inspired by “The Marriage of Sang Thong” exhibit. “Art Afternoon Tea” is offered until Dec 7 from 2.30-5pm daily at Lakorn European Brasserie for B1,299++ per person. Each item on the exquisite tea menu represents a color on the Pride flag: Red, with Jamon Iberico and tomato brioche; Green, with the Green pea, burrata and mint tartlet; Yellow, with Lemon white chocolate ganache, citrus and vanilla jelly, and mascarpone whipped cream; Orange, with Viennois biscuit, mandarin and pink pepper Jelly; Blue, with Choux puff with blueberry cheesecake cream and blueberrie­s; and Purple, with a Mint white chocolate whipped ganache ball with blackberry marmalade. Included is Chef Florian’s Egg white soufflé with a ginger and mango surprise in the middle.
