A cup of kindness

-

In remote areas of Thailand, inadequate family income has a direct impact on children’s education. Low family earnings are often a result of a poor local economy.

With this in mind, Happy Farmers — a business created by Thai farmers and local communities — sees tea as a way to develop the financial situations in underprivileged areas so that children’s education can be improved.

For this season of giving, Happy Farmers brings tea products from Sakat Pattana School in Pua district, Nan province, and from Radbumrongtham School in Lao Khwan district, Kanchanaburi, for those who want to send the gift of love and support local communities at the same time.

At 1,290 baht per set, the Dok Miang tea set comes with Dok Miang (Assam) tea, Miang tea, an organic bamboo tea strainer, a Happy Farmers signature tea cup and a Happy Farmers tote bag.

The Muanjoy Hamper (1,790 baht) features organic germinated rice (seven varieties blended in a uniquely designed sack bag), 100% wildflower honey, 100% pure bee’s wax candle, handcrafted 100% natural soap, handcrafted teakwood rice paddle and handcrafted teakwood box with a sliding lid.

The Coffee Grows A Forest set (1,990 baht) features nine sachets of instant drip Sawasdee Blend 100% Arabica coffee by Happy Farmers, a ceramic coffee dripper and 350ml ceramic coffee mug, a wish card and a Happy Farmers tote bag.

Other interesting items are Special Organic Rice Blends in a GrainSack Utility Bag set (990 baht) and four Organic Rice Varieties in a Pine Wooden Box set (890 baht).
