WEDNESDAY: The Thai Hotel Association has scheduled the 18th ATTA & THA joint members meeting at Samyan Mitrtown Hall, fifth floor, Samyan Mitrtown. Members can get to know TAGTHAi, a new travel app, and hear a summary of tourism trends in 2020 by Wichit Prakobkosol, president of the Association of Thai Travel Agents, and Supawan Tanomkieatipum, president of the Thai Hotels Association. Thanawat Pholwichai, president of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, is to give a presentation on the outlook for the tourism business in 2020.
Standard Chartered Bank Thai is organising a seminar to update on the economy in the first quarter at Park Hyatt Bangkok. The seminar starts at 1pm.

MONDAY: The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (Depa) and Mastercard are to announce the collaboration of “City Possible”, Mastercard’s global partnership and co-creation programme. The announcement will be delivered by Passakon Prathombutr, SEVP of the Digital and Innovation Center, Depa and Miguel Gamino Jr, EVP for global cities. Anuchit Kanjananuchit, deputy mayor of Yala, and Julienne Loh, EVP for enterprise partnerships at Mastercard, will be attending the panel discussion towards the end. The event is at 10am in the Komsorn area, third floor, Depa office.

TUESDAY: Hsieh Shen-yen, president of Delta Electronics Thailand Plc, and Kirapat Jiamset, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority governor, will announce a collaboration to offer MEA charging app users locations and information about Delta’s world-class EV charging solutions in the app’s EV charging station network. They will also share their company’s latest development and visions for EV charging in Bangkok and across Thailand at the Delta-MEA memorandum of understanding signing ceremony, which is to take place at convention hall 1, 12A floor, Tower B, Watthanawipat Building, MEA head office.

EVENTS
MONDAY: The ninth annual edition of the Thailand Tourism Forum, “The Big Bang — Epic Ideas, Scorekeeping and Straight Talk”, is set to take place today at the InterContinental Hotel Bangkok at 3pm. Over 1,000 participants are expected to gather for the country’s largest industry event.
TUESDAY: The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives are to sign a memorandum of cooperation for dissemination of financial knowledge for students and the bank’s school project at 1.30pm at BAAC Tower Building, second floor.
