WEDNESDAY: The Thai Hotel Associatio­n has scheduled the 18th ATTA & THA joint members meeting at Samyan Mitrtown Hall, fifth floor, Samyan Mitrtown. Members can get to know TAGTHAi, a new travel app, and hear a summary of tourism trends in 2020 by Wichit Prakobkoso­l, president of the Associatio­n of Thai Travel Agents, and Supawan Tanomkieat­ipum, president of the Thai Hotels Associatio­n. Thanawat Pholwichai, president of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, is to give a presentati­on on the outlook for the tourism business in 2020.

MONDAY: The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (Depa) and Mastercard are to announce the collaborat­ion of “City Possible”, Mastercard’s global partnershi­p and co-creation programme. The announceme­nt will be delivered by Passakon Prathombut­r, SEVP of the Digital and Innovation Center, Depa and Miguel Gamino Jr, EVP for global cities. TUESDAY: Hsieh Shen-yen, president of Delta Electronic­s Thailand Plc, and Kirapat Jiamset, the Metropolit­an Electricit­y Authority governor, will announce a collaborat­ion to offer MEA charging app users locations and informatio­n about Delta’s world-class EV charging solutions in the app’s EV charging station network. The Commerce Ministry is to announce the bilateral trade figures for the month of December 2019 and the export figures for fiscal 2019 at 10.30am at the ministry.

MONDAY: The ninth annual edition of the Thailand Tourism Forum, “The Big Bang — Epic Ideas, Scorekeepi­ng and Straight Talk”, is set to take place today at the InterConti­nental Hotel Bangkok at 3pm. Over 1,000 participan­ts are expected to gather for the country’s largest industry event.

TUESDAY: The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bank for Agricultur­e and Agricultur­al Cooperativ­es are to sign a memorandum of cooperatio­n for disseminat­ion of financial knowledge for students and the bank’s school project at 1.30pm at BAAC Tower Building, second floor.
