WANYAI X MONIK (FEB 19)

On Wednesday night, Mon Monik and Wanyai, formerly of Thai pop group Room39, embark on their new musical journey as Wanyai x Monik at Baan-puen Ekamai from 7pm onwards. Hosted by Jam Night by Jameson, Wanyai x Monik will meet and greet fans in an intimate concert setting and perform Room39 fan favourites as well as newer material, including Jeb Jon Por (Enough Hurting), Pai Dai Dee (Going Well), Saying Love, So Long and If I Hadn’t Met You.

YAAN (FEB 23)

As part of the Healing Sunday! Concert series, Studio Lam on Sukhumvit 51 invites you to check out the world music collective Yaan live in concert.

Yaan is a supergroup project made up of local musicians Chladni Chandi, Desktop Error, Abstractio­n XL, Govinda Bhashya and Noppakorn Lertlak. Together, they experiment with new sounds using different acoustic instrument­s from across the globe. Yaan blend elements of pop, rock, blues, reggae, folk and country, with luk thung and molam. The result is a distinctiv­e blend of sound, drenched in cultural heritage and ancient mysticism, with electronic looping and dub effects bringing in sitar, congas, violin, Thai khaen and 70s psychedeli­c guitar.
