Tube Gallery, a leading Thai fashion house, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with “The World Of Tube Gallery” exhibition, which will kick off on Saturday and run until March 20. The venue is RCB Gallery, 2nd floor of River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24.

Designers Phisit Jongnarangsin and Saxit Pisalasupongs started out with ready-to-wear items in some leading department stores, but today Tube Gallery’s collections have been showcased not only in Bangkok but also in fashion events worldwide including Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Sydney, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, New York and Paris.

The brand was also featured in the famous fashion-themed reality TV show Next Top Model in many countries and several celebrities such as Kimberly Walsh of Girls Aloud and Ashley Robert of The Pussycat Dolls were spotted in the brand’s creations as well.

Another benchmark Tube Gallery has achieved is costume design for various productions at the national and international level. Their stunning craftsmanship was apparent in the costuming for Manorah, a royal ballet performed during the cremation of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The brand has participated in various musical theatres including Dorian Gray in South Korea and has been lauded with Theatre Awards by Singapore’s The Straits Time Life! over three years.

Another honour was the costume design for the opening and closing ceremonies of the SEA Games 2015 in Singapore. The duo have also worked with many world-renowned artists including Christian Develter from Belgium.

For one month, visitors are invited to explore the brand’s history and characteristics in the exhibition, which will feature silhouettes from many different collections. Some of them have been collected in their own archive and others were owned by various celebrities, which have not been shown before.

Also displayed will be the brand’s first fashion installation of a new collection, which takes inspiration from paintings by Ploy Kasom and the brand’s signature “Maximumlism” style.
