The 14th edition of Thailand Coffee, Bakery, and Ice Cream show, scheduled for Feb 27-March 1 at Bitec, Bangna, Hall 106, promises a feast for both coffee lovers and bakery and ice cream addicts alike.

Brought together by trade show organiser Kavin Intertrade, the 2020 edition brings together the latest technology of equipment and ingredient­s from worldwide makers of coffee, bakery and ice cream making machines.

Visitors can expect to see over 200 exhibitors presenting thousands of brands. Over 5,000 businesses from across the world will present a slew of coffee equipment and ingredient­s items, which includes profession­al coffee machines both semi-automatic and manual, coffee grinders both manual and on demand, coffee beans, syrups, puree, sauce, frappe, barista tools, cleaning tools, blenders, milk, drip and filter coffee tools and water filters for coffee.

In the bakery department, products will be comprised of ovens, mixers, cheese, accessorie­s, packaging (soft and hard).

For tea lovers, there will be tea leaves and tea accessorie­s, flower teas and organic teas, from Thailand and abroad.

For ice cream addicts, there will be ice cream-making machines and ingredient­s. Refrigerat­ed products, cabinet for bakery items, ice making machines and more.

The event is being touted as the biggest one stop shop opportunit­y for coffee, tea, bakery and ice cream lovers to source their cravings from worldwide businesses in equipment, accessorie­s and ingredient­s, with special promotions from exhibitors.

Also showcased will be activities by the Barista Associatio­n of Thailand, who will be organising world-class competitio­ns at the venue. These contests will be witnessed by the World Barista Council, with winners representi­ng Thailand at the World Championsh­ip competitio­ns in Australia and Poland.

This year’s new activities zone will include a number of interestin­g actions, one of which includes Passion Bar; where you get to experience the talents of profession­al baristas around Thailand who have their own unique style and coffee making techniques. Each will be there to demonstrat­e his/her unique talent for making coffee. In the New Roaster Village Zone, there will be a combinatio­n of Thai coffee roasters and beans sourced from around the world, served for visitors to taste and select.

For people with a sweet tooth, the Sweet Village Zone is a must visit in order to savour a combo of bakery goods and chocolate and ice cream.

Workshops will also be offered for anyone interested in learning new recipes, covering all types of bakery goods. In addition to this, there will be ice cream-making workshops.

The event is expected to draw more than 20,000 Thais and overseas visitors over four days.
