MINI-MARATHON: Charat Bunnasa, governor of Samut Songkhram, and Pisit Seua-saming, president of the province’s administra­tive organisati­on, together with Prof Emeritus Siriwan Silapachar­anan, secretary-general of the King Ram a II Phraboromr­achanusorn Foundation under royal patronage, and Saisom Wongsasula­k, chief of fundraisin­g, announced the organisati­on of ‘King Rama II Memorial Park Walk-Run Super Mini Marathon’ to be held in June, at a press conference held at Morakot Room, The Emerald Hotel Bangkok. GENEROUS DONATION: Prachak and Laor Tangkarava­koon, chairmen of TOA Paint (Thailand) and the Mother Li Gim Giew Foundation, handed a donation of 5 million baht to Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda, commission­er general of Royal Thai Police, to support a welfare fund for police officers who died or were injured on duty in the tragic shooting at Terminal 21 in Nakhon Ratchasima.
