MINI-MARATHON: Charat Bunnasa, governor of Samut Songkhram, and Pisit Seua-saming, president of the province’s administrative organisation, together with Prof Emeritus Siriwan Silapacharanan, secretary-general of the King Ram a II Phraboromrachanusorn Foundation under royal patronage, and Saisom Wongsasulak, chief of fundraising, announced the organisation of ‘King Rama II Memorial Park Walk-Run Super Mini Marathon’ to be held in June, at a press conference held at Morakot Room, The Emerald Hotel Bangkok. GENEROUS DONATION: Prachak and Laor Tangkaravakoon, chairmen of TOA Paint (Thailand) and the Mother Li Gim Giew Foundation, handed a donation of 5 million baht to Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda, commissioner general of Royal Thai Police, to support a welfare fund for police officers who died or were injured on duty in the tragic shooting at Terminal 21 in Nakhon Ratchasima.
