Cancelled and Postponed Shows: Part 2

-

AS YOU’RE PAINFULLY AWARE THAT SOME OF UPCOMING PERFORMANCES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED OR POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19. HERE ARE A FEW OF THE RECENT CASUALTIES

We thought Babymetal’s “Metal Galaxy World Tour” would soldier on regardless since they announced guest performers in late February. However, fans will have to wait longer for the kawaii metal band as their performance has been, sadly yet understandably, rescheduled. Ticket holders can hold on to their tickets for the new date or get a refund at 14 Thai Ticket Major counters until Mar 31. Call 02-262-3838 or email cs@thaiticketmajor.com.

One of the biggest letdowns came when Very Festival

Spring Break, which was originally scheduled to take place this Saturday, was cancelled on Mar 3. There goes our chance to catch a live performance by Joji (who recently made his TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon) and Niki of 88rising label. There’s a silver lining here, though, as the organiser aims to make it happen by Q3. If you’re cool with whatever new date may be, keep your ticket. If not, get your refund at fb.com/veryfestival.

Fans of Disney Princesses (us included), let’s release a sigh of disappointment together. Disney On Ice Presents Live

Your Dreams, which was scheduled from Apr 1-5, has been cancelled. Tickets can be refunded at bit.ly/2TIK2w3 until Apr 5. For refund inquiry, call 02-262-3838 during office hours (8am-8pm) or email cs@thaiticketmajor.com.

AliAliVe2020 Around the World - Re:AliVe - Bangkok was supposed to take place in March but has been postponed to June 11. The first world tour of Japanese six-piece rock band AliA (a-li-a) will also see their debut in Thailand. Vocalist Ayame, guitarist Omakura Eren, keyboardist TKT, violinist Rina, bassist Seiya and drummer Bob will be here a couple of months late but it’s better than never. Buy tickets at www. livenation.co.th.

JamCity by Have Your Heard? has been postponed from its original date of Mar 28. This may be worth the wait as the riverside music festival at Sermsuk Warehouse gathers selected foreign bands and your favourite local acts. Made By Legacy will curate food booths. It’s best to check in with fb.com/HaveYouHeard.Live for updates.

Ruel Free Time World Tour Live in Bangkok 2020 has been postponed to Sept 12 but the venue will be the same. Tickets already purchased are good for the new date but ticket holders can opt for a full refund through Thai Ticket Major outlets during normal business hours until March 31.

Mature Festival #1st at Voice Space has been pushed from Mar 21 to Sept 5. Venus, Death Of A Salesman, Sleeper 1, Soundlanding, Morning Surfers, Rule Dark and Mad Pack It will perform in the inaugural edition. Keep your tickets if you want to enjoy Thai indie music you’re grown up with and are cool with the new date. If not, head to bit.ly/2UvOy12 to get your refund.
