SHINE BRIGHT WITH NATURAL LIGHTENING SERUM

-

Simple solutions can often be found under your nose, however, Sisley researchers didn’t have to look far for a solution for skin dullness as it was right in the palm of their hands.

Whatever one’s skin colour, the palms and soles of the feet are always lighter than other parts of the body. Produced by fibroblast in localised areas, a dermal protein called DKK1 prevents tanning in these areas by impairing melanin production.

This palmoplantar whiteness inspired the development of Le Concentré Pure Bright Activating Serum, which is a new beauty product under the brand’s Phyto-Blanc range.

Paris-based Sisley was in search of a plant with a biomimetic action to reproduce a similar lightening effect on the face. The Egyptian Myrobalan, also known as desert date, was selected for the job with its skin-brightening extract complemented by an anti-dark spots complex comprising of pea peptide, wild thyme extract, hexylresorcinol and vitamin B3.

The serum also contains vitamin E acetate and alpha bisabolol of natural origin to counteract oxidative stress and soothe the skin from pollution, UV and other external aggressors as well as stress and other lifestyle factors.

Founded in 1976, the family-owned company believes in the use of botanical ingredients and essential oils for its phytocosmetology. Each product under the Phyto-Blanc range features a different blend of botanical ingredients for a comprehensive beauty routine to promote radiant complexion.
