Laneige’s vitamin-packed ream helps tackle skin damage
Digital devices have become an indispensable part of people’s lives from e-banking, chatting, online shopping, and watching videos on YouTube, not to mention working in front of a computer all day.
Lengthy screen time has raised concerns about extended exposure to blue light or high-energy (HEV) light, whose toll on the skin, including hyperpigmentation, is visible to the naked eye.
However, the visible effects aren’t everything though, according to a Laneige campaign launched alongside its new Radian-C Cream.
The South Korean brand claims that dull skin is also a result of hidden micro dark sports, which can be detected by a UV camera.
In one of the brand’s campaign films, South Korean actress Kim You-jung reads a fairytale-like story about micro dark spots and how they gradually grow because of blue light beaming from mobile phones all day.
The narration, however, ends with the skin defeating the micro dark spots thanks to the powerful vitamin C found in Laneige’s new skincare product.
Vitamin C derivatives team up with vitamin E and brightening MelasolvA as the key ingredient in Radian-C Super Blend which tackles both the noticeable and looming hyperpigmentation.
A clinical trial on the effectiveness of Laneige’s Radian-C cream on women aged between 20 and 40 was conducted by Dermapor institute. The results showed that the moisturising vitamin cream can help relieve skin damage from blue light, which also includes temporary redness and slackening skin, besides the ultrafine dark spots.
