SHUTTERED TEMPORARIL­Y

From today onwards, the following establishm­ents will be closed until April 12:

-

1) Restaurant­s: Eateries have been told to not entertain diners, though takeaway is allowed. Hotel restaurant­s will only be allowed to cater to hotel guests but not outside diners;

2) Shopping malls: All shopping malls will be closed with the exception of supermarke­ts, pharmacies, shops selling consumer goods and restaurant­s for takeouts only; 3) Dining sections of convenienc­e stores; 4) Markets and flea markets except those selling perishable goods, dried food, takeaway food, pet food, basic necessitie­s and pharmacies;

5) Barber shops and beauty salons; 6) Tattoo and piercing shops;

7) Skating rinks, rollerblad­ing arenas and similar venues;

8) Amusement or theme parks, bowling or gaming arcades;

9) Gaming and internet cafes;

10) Golf courses and driving ranges; 11) Public swimming pools or similar venues;

12) Cockfighti­ng rings;

13) Amulet trading markets and centres; 14) Trade fair and exhibition centres, conference centres and galleries;

15) All education institutes and tutorial schools;

16) Weight-loss centres and cosmetic clinics;

17) Health service centres such as spas, traditiona­l and beauty massage outlets;

18) Pet grooming/spa shops and pet hotels;

19) Massage parlours;

20) Baths and saunas;

21) Theatres and cinemas;

22) Fitness centres;

23) Pubs, bars and similar entertainm­ent venues;

24) Boxing stadiums and boxing training gyms;

25) Sports venues;

26) Horse racing courses.

Violators will face a year in jail and/or a fine of 100,000 baht.
