MONDAY: The National Economic and Social Developmen­t Council (NESDC) is to provide an update and overview of the Thai economy during the first quarter of 2020. There will also be a revision of economic projection­s, both for this year and 2021, at the NESDC office at 9.30am.

WEDNESDAY: The Thai Hotels Associatio­n and the Food & Hotel Thailand 2020 present the second episode of a series on webinars for Thai hoteliers and restaurate­urs at 2pm. The Alibaba Group is holding an online seminar titled “Go Export 2020: Thailand Online Seller Summit”. At the seminar, Nattapon Rangsitpho­l, directorge­neral of the Department of Industrial Promotion, and Stefan Guo, Alibaba director for AsiaPacifi­c, are to present the new business opportunit­ies emerging from the rise of online businesses, followed by a sharing of success stories from suppliers of the e-commerce platform. As Covid-19 disrupts our lives, upheaval in financial markets has left no sector unscathed.
