July: The Allium introduces afternoon tea, available only on weekends. Priced at 1,400 baht per set, it features a selection of finger food items including lobster, duck liver and Iberian ham, and smoked beef tenderloin on bread; cured salmon with raw fennel salad; mud crab salad; brownie with white chocolate mousse; and financier with coconut and lime. Kintsugi by Jeff Ramsey is now fully reopened and offering lunch sets along with a la carte dishes. Main course dishes include grilled hamachi, pork belly shabu, unagi donburi, grilled Alaskan king crab and MB9 Australian Wagyu steak. Prices range from 700-1,000 baht per set.

July: Up & Above restaurant celebrates its reopening with butcher specials from Japan, Australia and Argentina. Highlighte­d are Kagoshima A5 sirloin and Wagyu oyster blade steak from Japan, Black Angus tenderloin steak and Tasmanian Wagyu beef from Australia and Lomo Pampa tenderloin from Argentina. Options of side dish include seasonal salad, potato gratin, Mediterran­ean grilled vegetables, hand-cut fries with paprika mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese, and buttered baby vegetables. Prices range from 750 baht to 3,800 baht. Meanwhile Yamazato resumes its dine-in operation with a special series of set lunch and kaiseki dinner inspired by Japan’s Tanabata festival. July: Shang Palace Cantonese cuisine restaurant resumes its dine-in operation with dim sum lunch buffet, to be served at Next 2 Cafe, from Wednesday to Sunday. Price is 788 baht net per person inclusive of free-flow Chinese tea. A la carte menu is available on Saturday and Sunday for lunch. A wide variety of dishes is still offered for takeaway and delivery. Highly recommende­d are steamed sticky rice with crabmeat in bamboo basket; steamed prawn dumplings; deep-fried glutinous rice dumplings with chicken stuffing; and steamed bun with lavalike custard filling.
