Rajavithi Hospital hosts Covid conference

-

Rajavithi Hospital is hosting a virtual conference on “Covid-19: The Global Health Challenges For The New Decade” from tomorrow to Friday.

This is the country’s first virtual conference on the new coronavirus since the pandemic first posed a challenge to global health, driving those in the front lines to join forces to find the best way to fight the disease.

Held with the aim to help shape the evolving global response to the virus, the three-day event will bring experts in expanding fields related to Covid-19 to discuss critical issues in this escalating pandemic — from the very fundamental issues to new practical approaches and vaccine development.

The first day will present sessions from China, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, Germany, the UK and the US from 3pm onwards while the last two days are devoted to symposiums.

Starting from noon on Thursday, experts will touch on four main topics — “Covid-19: The Unfinished Threat From Coronavirus”; “Infection Control”; “Abnormalities In Laboratory: Coronavirus Diagnostics”; and “Adult Covid-19: Medical Management And Case Sharing”.

On Friday also from noon, they will be sharing experiences and the latest research through four topics — “Intensive & Critical Care: Various Approaches For Severe Cases”; “Pediatric Experiences In Covid-19 Disruption”; “Pandemic Outbreak Trends In CDC’s View”; and “Vaccine Development”.
