Cambodian illegals nabbed
SA KAEO: Twenty-two Cambodians have been arrested since Tuesday for crossing illegally into Thailand in search of employment, according to the Immigration Bureau.
The bureau said the 22 Cambodians were caught separately in two groups of 11 people each. The first group was nabbed on Tuesday in Ban Noen Somboon in Ta Phraya district as they were waiting to be picked up by agents who secured them employment in Bangkok, Saraburi, Nakhon Pathom and Chachoengsao.
The second group was arrested on Wednesday near the Nong Sang border checkpoint in Aranyaprathet district.
