Chomrawee Suksom gives materialism a face — chaotic, turbulent, grotesque, yet captivating. As people put more importance on the stuff they acquire the more they seem to be lost. Chomrawee expresses the bad side of materialism through drawing, acrylic paint and gold leaves to produce contemporary pieces that are also homage to traditional Thai art. The Surat Thani-born artist has participated in Bua Luang exhibitions and won a runner prize from the 20th Panasonic Contemporary Painting Competition. Open 10am-7pm. Closes on Monday.
