Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc (CPF)

CPF plans to consolidat­e the Chinese swine business between Chia Tai Investment (CTI) and Chia Tai Animal Husbandry Investment Beijing. The proposed deal aims to acquire 43 companies of Chia Tai Animal Husbandry. Investment worth 131.29 billion baht.

Central Retail Corporatio­n Plc (CRC)

CRC has launched a tender offer for all shares of COL Plc, the operator of retail chains OfficeMate and B2S, for 12.16 billion baht.

Gulf Energy Developmen­t Plc (GULF)

Gulf acquired a 35% stake in Burapa Power Holding Co, which operates the Burapa power plant in Chachoengs­ao, for a total value of 120.75 million baht.

Thai Union Group Plc (TU)

The country’s leading canned seafood exporter plans an investment in Red Lobster Master Holdings, a restaurant subsidiary in the US. The company has not disclosed the purchase price, but investment through its subsidiary Thai Union Investment­s North America LLC is 49%.

B.Grimm Power Plc (BGRIM)

B.Grimm acquired a 70% stake in Angthong Power Co, a gas-fired power plant under the small power producer scheme, for 2.52 billion baht.

Asset World Corporatio­n Plc (AWC)

AWC, a property developer owned by Charoen Sirivadhan­abhakdi's TCC Group, looks set to acquire 12 hotels in Thailand for an undisclose­d amount.
