Celebrate Moon Festival with your favourite flavourful brands

-

The Moon Festival is just around the corner and every family with Chinese heritage will soon enjoy dinner and mooncakes together.

This is the only occasion of the year to see leading restaurants competing to concoct their own recipes of flavourful mooncakes and of course, our only chance to indulge in such a unique kind of Chinese bakery.

We have only four days left to stock up on the sweet delicacies. Many shopping malls are offering plenty of choices, which means we can enjoy the most of what this festival has to offer.

One of the recommended venues is Iconsiam where we can find both classic and fusion mooncakes, namely from Starbucks (1st floor), Kyo Roll En (3rd floor), and S&P (4th floor).

Available at the Siam Takashimaya zone are exclusive recipes in many flavours from Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, 3SIS & Selected Goods and Phoenix Lava.

Another destination is the SookSiam zone on the ground floor which gathers mooncakes by Shangrila Restaurant, Gokjai Cantonese Restaurant and an old and famous shop from Bang Lamphu; as well as khanom pia (Chinese pastry cake) by famous shops from across the four regions including Pi Noi at Sao Hai Market in Uthai Thani, Tang Seng Jua in Chachoengsao, Mae Sri Muang in Sing Buri, Tang Song Heng in Bangkok and Dok Bua Na Tawee in Songkhla.

Meanwhile, The Mall Group brings over 200 selections of legendary classic mooncakes from a variety of popular brands from hotels and restaurants in Thailand and beyond.

The line-up includes Banyan Tree, Athenee Hotel, Shangri-La Hotel, and MX Cakes & Bakery from Hong Kong.

Other favourite brands include Harrods, Qilin, Skinni Bears, Golden Dragon, Coca Restaurant, and Bakery Hut.

They are packaged in exquisite boxes, making them perfect as gifts for special recipients. They are available at all branches of The Mall, Emporium, EmQuartier and Paragon until Oct 1.
