Green Angel Organics helps fellow farmers and promotes sustainable agriculture

Green Angel Organics, whose kiosk is at K Village, sells a variety of fresh, seasonal, organic fruits and vegetables. The produce is brought over from Green Garden Food Forest Buriram and through a vast network of farmers, which follows the Khok Nong Na water management model. Green Angel Organics’ mission is to bring chemicaland-GMO-free produce to Thais and expats living in the city while giving livable income to farmers, by doing away with the middlemen.

Along with produce, customers can also find quintessentially Thai products like Riceberry, butterfly pea grains and Surin black jasmine rice. Green Angel Organics encourages farmers to follow the Sufficiency Economy and New Theory principles laid out by the Late King Bhumibol. Part of these principles is being eco-friendly and restoring the soil, water, forests and rice fields.

The team behind Green Angel Organics also provides farmers advice on the Khok Nong Na model and helps them implementation the concept, free of charge. They aim to be a place where farmers can come together to share their thoughts and experiences and move onto the path of self-sufficiency.

Green Angel Organics also gives a portion of its proceeds to the non-profit organisation Green World Education Foundation, which works on training and education surrounding sustainability.
