-

SINGAPORE: One Championship has released the full card for its next event — One 159: De Ridder v Bigdash.

The card features a plethora of intriguing bouts, including two world title showdowns that will be aired live on July 22 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Two-division king Reinier “The Dutch Knight” de Ridder will defend his middleweight throne against Russia’s Vitaly Bigdash in the main event.

The One middleweight and lightheavyweight world champion will make his third appearance in the circle this year after successfully defending his middleweight strap against welterweight titleholder Kiamrian “Brazen” Abbasov in February and facing grappling legend Andre Galvao in March.

In the co-main event, women’s atomweight kickboxing queen Janet “JT” Todd will attempt to add the One interim women’s Muay Thai world title to her collection when she takes on Spain’s Lara Fernandez.

Todd holds a record of 6-1 in One and earned her gold when she dethroned Stamp Fairtex in February 2020.

The winner of this bout will meet One women’s atomweight Muay Thai world champion Allycia Hellen Rodriguez to unify the belts when the Brazilian returns to competition following the birth of her first child.

A dizzying array of action is set to go down in the lead-up to the headlining bouts.

The main card features striking and mixed martial arts showdowns, with well-known athletes “Elbow Zombie” Muangthai PK Saenchai, “Mini T” Danial Williams, and Bokang “Little Gaint” Masunyane all stepping into the circle for their respective bouts.

Meanwhile, the lead card will kick things off in style with Muay Thai, MMA, and submission grappling bouts scheduled.

Sinsamut Klinmee and Marat Gufurov will return to the global stage, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu star Jessa Khan will make her One debut.
