BRUNCH DEL DOMINGO / MELIÁ CHIANG MAI / JUL TO SEPT

-

Meliá Chiang Mai’s indulgent Sunday brunch offers a host of Spanish, Mediterranean and Thai offerings including imported charcuterie, chilled prawns on ice, Mediterranean salads and a live cooking noodle station. Dubbed “Brunch del Domingo”, the brunch is held on the first and last Sunday of the month from 11.30am-3pm at the urban hotel’s all-day dining restaurant Laan Na Kitchen that serves authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a vibrant marketplace setting. Tortilla Española, chorizo and bacon quiche, Manchego and artisan cheeses are among the brunch’s Mediterranean favourites. A butcher’s corner serves a selection of cold cuts, including Ibérico jamón, Spanish chorizo, chicken ham and smoked fish. The Mediterranean salad bar affords a selection of Spanish olive oils, olives and pickles. The live cooking station has dishes such as khao soi with grilled chicken and a large Paella fideuá, short pasta with seafood and served with aioli. Desserts include churros, fruit and marshmallow skewers, that can be dipped in a chocolate fountain. The brunch is B1,499 net per person and B750 net per child between the ages of six-12. A two-hour free-flow package with house wine, draft beer and soft drinks is B1,000 net per person. The brunch will be held on July 3/31, August 7/28 and Sept 4/25. The hotel offers a “come four, pay three” promotion, meaning four guests can attend the brunch for the price of three guests, if booked at least one week in advance with a non-refundable deposit.
