The new drinking-dining den
Anantara Siam Bangkok has added a new feeding and watering hole on its premises. Chef Carlos Rodriguez takes diners on an adventure through modern Latin American cuisine at Guilty. Peruvian flavours get a Nikkei twist in dishes like Ceviche in leche de tigre and the Tuna acevichado roll. A selection of corn tacos delivers a nod to Mexico and the robust barbacoa menu includes a Brasilian Wagyu and cuts served with Peruvian rubs or chimichurri sauces. The dessert menu is a sweet symphony starring orange and lime churros and a sinful tres leches cake.
Master mixologists craft cocktails to complement the Latin American theme, with signature sips including Manteca y Dulce — a combination of pisco and dulce de leche, and Cactus Scape No.1 — with tequila, pineapple, agave and adobo spices. For the adventurous, the selection of party shots includes cannabis, palm leaf and coffee with coconut.
The interior space combines bold geometry with earthy green and amber tones to create a distinctive aesthetic inspired by the works of Richard Artschwager and the pop art movement. Guests are greeted by an oversized resin cast feature light that hovers over the central space as an abstract art piece, and masterpieces from local creators, including Melanies Greis, Nakrob Moonmanus, Kitikong Tilokwattanotai and Phannapast “Yoon” Taychamaythakool.
The party starts at Guilty, where there’s no shame in a good time. Open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch between 12-2.30pm and for dinner from 6pm-12am. Call 02-126-8866 or email guilty.asia@anantara.com.
