Nov 26: A new dining concept, Electronic Brunch, is featured at Octave Rooftop restaurant. Held every other Saturday, from 1-7pm, the six-hour experience features a wide range of a la carte options, with highlights such as watermelon gazpacho, oysters and burrata, Hangover Burrito, the Massive Burger, Australian tomahawk steak, pan-seared snow fish and cinnamon-oatmeal pancakes. Vegan options are also available. Free-flow beverage packages are available from 900 baht per person for two hours.

Nov 24: A special Thanksgivi­ng buffet feast is offered at Goji Kitchen + Bar at 1,698 baht per person. The all-you-can-eat internatio­nal dinner highlights the American classic whole-roasted turkey with the trimmings such as turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, baked sweet potato, vegetable casserole, mashed potato, candied carrots and roasted butternut squash. There are also honey-glazed ham, pumpkin soup and seafood chowder as well as dessert pumpkin pie, apple pie and pecan pie.

November and December: French Fine de Claire oysters served with spicy Thai sauce and mignonette are a seasonal highlight at Cooling Tower Rooftop Bar while Plate restaurant’s recommende­d dishes of the season are lamb rack with beer-marinated plum and tzatziki sauce and southern Thai yellow curry with cod fillet and black mussel and Wah Lok Chinese restaurant highlights double-boiled black truffle soup with fresh fish maw, dried scallops and bamboo piths.

November: Dishes prepared with imported Chinese hairy crabs are highlighte­d at The Silk Road restaurant. Three cooking styles, each priced at 2,000 baht, include steaming with Chinese tea leaves, stir-frying with egg white and braising in a superior thick soup.

Eastin Grand Sathorn (02-210-8100) November: The Glass House grand weekend buffet, available for Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch, highlights prime seafood including fresh king crab, sea crab, oysters, river prawns, New Zealand mussels, snow fish and cheese-baked lobster. Meanwhile, a selection of sushi, sashimi and tempura is available at Japanese corner and an array of pork porchetta, Wagyu beef picanha, roasted Australian lamb shoulder and baked teriyaki salmon are on offer at the carving station. The price is 1,950 baht net per person. Children under 12 years of age receive a 50% discount.

November: Char restaurant launches an all-new menu to celebrate its new Mexican-born chef de cuisine Jaime Rojas. His signature dishes include roasted pork belly with creamy polenta, coriander chimichurr­i and sautéed bok choy; lobster rice with carnaroli rice, a gochujang sofrito, mussels and the meat of a whole Boston lobster; grilled Wagyu beef tenderloin and wood-fired steak tomahawk.

Nov 24: Flourish restaurant presents a Thanksgivi­ng dinner buffet at 3,600 baht per person. Feature menu includes festive classics such as roasted turkey with stuffing and Brussel sprouts along with a selection of fresh-caught seafood, artisanal cheeses, Thai specialtie­s and American desserts.

Tomorrow: The hotel highlights its bi-monthly brunch buffet, dubbed “W Does Brunch”, encompassi­ng food, music and drinks. November: Madison steakhouse launches a new menu that celebrates its new chef de cuisine Christian Caluwaert. His menu includes American-style slow-cooked Wagyu brisket; a Steak Diane flambéed with cognac; Ibérico Joselito pork cheeks in red wine gravy sauce; tomahawk steak; and grilled Boston lobster with garlic herb butter. Meanwhile a “House of Eden” afternoon tea, a collaborat­ion between the hotel executive pastry chef Anupong Nualchawee and a Bangkok-based artist Atthakrisn­a Vannason, is showcased at the Lobby Lounge. The tipple time culinary creations, priced at 1,950 baht per set for two people including a selection of Mariage Frères teas take cues from a whimsical terrestria­l journey in the biblical story. Expect to find delicacies such as Envy Apple and Earl Grey macarons; “naked” apple tartlet with chestnut leaf; beetroot and crab meat rillettes; and scones with a choice of apple and cinnamon and cream cheese butter flavours.

Centara Grand at CentralWor­ld (02-100-6255) November: This Thursday, a traditiona­l Thanksgivi­ng family dinner is featured at Ventisi restaurant at 1,980 baht per person inclusive. Meanwhile, a variety of Basque Country’s “pintxo” tapas is featured throughout the month at Uno Mas restaurant. With prices starting from 180 baht per dish, the options include black mussels in escabeche sauce; gambas prawn with Paris mushrooms and bacon; octopus potato and pimento; a la plancha beef tenderloin with foie gras and Pedro Jimenez raspberry sauce; porcini mushrooms with garlic, parsley and truffled Manchego cheese; mini croissants with chakta crab and Marie Rose sauce; and txistorra sausage rolled in puff pastry. At Red Sky restaurant, Alba white truffle is the seasonal highlighte­d ingredient. Dishes include Fassona beef tartare with white truffle and tome de Savoie cheese, white truffle cappuccino soup with white truffle shavings, white truffle tagliolini with butter and Parmesan cheese, Glacier 51 snow fish with Jerusalem artichokes velouté, Nantaise sauce and shaven white truffle and pan-seared veal tenderloin with porcini mushrooms and white truffle.

Grand Hyatt Erawan (02-254-1234) November: Spasso French bistro highlights flame-baked tarte flambée prepared to the Alsace tradition. The selection includes Alsacienne flammekuec­he tarte with bacon, onion and Isigny cream; Basque tarte flambée with Bayonne cured ham, piquillos peppers and piperade sauce; Gasconne tarte flambée with foie gras, duck confit, and cèpe mushrooms; and Provençale tarte flambée with fresh tuna, tomato, grilled vegetables and garlic aioli. Prices start from 240 baht per piece.

Nov 24: A Thanksgivi­ng buffet dinner featuring classic roasted turkey and honey baked ham accompanie­d by mac and cheese side dish and desserts of pumpkin and apples as well as the restaurant’s all-time favourite buffet items is presented at JW Café at 2,525 baht per person.

November and December: A new seasonal menu, dubbed Winter Journey, is featured at Michelin-star restaurant Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin. The multi-course menu includes all-time favourite soy sauce salty meringue; tom kha truffle ice-cream cornetto; five-spice pork croquette; king fish flan in miso; the green curry snow fish lava cake; duck confit pad kaprao with peas and quail egg; and pistachio soufflé with pistachio tuile and pandan ice cream. An eight-course meal costs 2,150 baht per person; 10-course 3,200 baht; and 16-course dinner 3,900 baht. Additional wine pairings are priced from 1,700 baht to 2,900 baht.

Nov 24: Roast turkey with orange and sage served with orange giblet gravy, spiced pumpkin soup, cheesy Hasselback potato and baked whole snapper with Brussels sprouts are highlighte­d offerings at Viu’s epic Thanksgivi­ng dinner buffet. The line-up also includes seafood on ice, miso-glazed snow fish, grilled lobster Thermidor and barbecue beef and lamb. Price is 2,800 baht per person.

Dishes include roast duck, crispy pork, salmon and tuna sashimi, sushi rolls, dim sum, lava charcoal bun, mushroom cream soup, spinach lasagna, spaghetti carbonara, tomato sauce pasta, grilled seafood and salad bar. New grilled seafood buffet dinner, priced at 999 baht net with premium dim sum, sushi and sashimi, is featured from Monday to Saturday.

November: Hong Kong-style suckling pig and dishes prepared with hairy crab are highlighte­d at Yok Chinese restaurant. Prices are 2,800 baht per pig and 990 baht per crab.

November: Prempracha­korn restaurant offers an internatio­nal buffet at 490 baht net for daily lunch and 590 baht net per person for dinner Sunday to Wednesday. The menu includes smoked duck breast, roast pork with plum sauce, sushi, pasta, spaghetti, som tam, pork larb, miang khum and salad bar. Seafood on ice is added in the dinner buffet line on Thursday to Saturday at 790 baht net per person. Dragon Luxury Chinese Cuisine meanwhile features 25% discount on Peking duck, dim sum and a la carte such as crispy prawn with mayonnaise fruit salad in taro nest, wok-tossed prawns with salt and chilli sauce, black sesame dumplings served with ginger tea.

Today: Age Restaurant Terrace features a special jamón Ibérico-driven tasting menu. Showcased are jamon Joselito, chorizo vela, lomo, dry-cured saucisson and coppa along with charcaol-grilled dry-aged Wagyu beef brisket served with polenta, Ibiza-styled paella, Spanish pickles and assortment of desserts. Price is 1,500 baht per person.

Cape Panwa, Phuket (076-391-123) November: Panwa House restaurant recommends Andaman Seafood Mountain sharing platter. Priced at 2,900 baht, the platter includes crab, lobster, tiger prawn, oyster, salmon and tuna accompanie­d by a selection of seafood sauces and dipping.

Nov 28-30: The Orchard restaurant presents Japanese Food Festival buffet dinner at 730 baht net per person. Children under 12 years of age receive a 50% discount.

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa (032-904-666) November: Big Fish & Bar restaurant highlights dishes prepared with fresh Phuket lobster. Featured menu includes charcoal-grilled lobster served with spicy seafood sauce and garlic fried rice; classic lobster thermidor with truffle mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables; stirfried lobster with cashew nuts; stir-fried lobster with black pepper, garlic, peppercorn­s and spring onion; and Italian-style squid-ink spaghetti aglio e olio with lobster. November: Laan Na Kitchen all-day dining restaurant recommends its seasonal four-course Mediterran­ean menu prepared with fresh, organic and sustainabl­y-harvested ingredient­s. Dishes include green hummus salad with grounded smoked paprika, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, carrots, celery and pita bread; a chilled cream of cucumber and sesame paste soup with natural yoghurt and dill; beet paella with Iberico ham trimming, tomatoes, grilled mushrooms and Parmigiano Reggiano; and Chiang Mai orange pot de crème. The set costs 699 baht net per person.

Nov 20: The monthly Sunday brunch buffet is featured at The Breeza Beach Restaurant & Bar. Highlights include a raw bar seafood station offering imported French oysters, white shell clams, local blue swimmer crab, shrimps and Turkish-style mussels; grilled meat, burgers and foie gras from Josper oven; Japanese sushi bar; a la minute artisan pasta station; and a selection of healthy dishes such as quinoa salad with beetroot, broccoli and pumpkin, salmon poke with seaweed and black sesame and Thai pomelo salad with soft shell crab. Prices are 1,890 baht per adult and 945 baht per child. An all-inclusive package with free-flow wine, beers, crafted cocktails, spirits, juices, mocktails and soft drinks costs 3,990 baht per person.
