Alec Benjamin to play in Bangkok

-

American singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin is ready to convey love stories through his popular songs for Thai fans during “Alec Benjamin The (Un)Commentary Tour In Bangkok” which will take place at KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha Theatre, 7th floor of Siam Square One, Rama I Road, on Dec 6 at 8.30pm.

Organised by Live Nation Tero, the concert is part of his (Un)Commentary Tour in eight cities across Asia with Bangkok as the last destination of the leg before he will head to Australia and South America.

Having come a long way from the days of promoting his music in parking lots of concert venues, the 28-year-old singer continued his introspective run of music with the release of his sophomore album (Un)Commentary in April.

His standout track, Devil Doesn’t Bargain, experienced online success on social media and landed in the Top 5 Most Added at Hot AC for the week of Aug 8.

With new tracks such as Speakers and Shadow Of Mine which have combined for over 25 million streams, Benjamin delivered powerful performances of each song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He also made his debut appearance at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Following successes such as Let Me Down Slowly (double-platinum), Water Fountain (platinum), and Oh My God (gold), the self-made storyteller looks to continue to prove himself as what Time calls “a pop storyteller for the next generation”.

Tickets cost 2,200, 2,600 and 3,250 baht and can be purchased from thaiticketmajor.com or call 02-262-3838.
