Achance to give the gift of happiness to children in Thailand’s southern provinces returns once again with the 13th “Million Gifts Million Smiles” project.

Organised by Central Group in partnership with the Royal Thai Army, Equitable Education Fund (EEF) and its network, ‘Million Gifts Million Smiles’ invites Thais to send New Year and Children’s Day presents, as well as scholarships for 2023, to children in southernmost provinces and other provinces through three channels — supporting scholarships for underprivileged children through the Equitable Education Fund; gifts at donation points; and cash to support the purchase of sports equipment and school supplies to send happiness and support children in need, starting from today.

Under the “From The Hearts To The Smiles” concept, the project comprises three themes: Pay It Forward, Give It Forward and Share It Forward, to give options to those who want to offer great opportunities to those in need. Details are as follows:

Give It Forward: Bring smiles through gifts by donating items such as bicycles, school supplies, sports equipment, stationery items, or toys at gift donation points at the Rest Area in front of CentralWorld on the 2nd floor, from now until Dec 25. Also, you can send your gifts to Bangna New Distribution Center, Liab Khlong Song Nam Suvarnabhumi Road, Bang Na-Trat KM19, from 9am to 5pm, from now until Dec 30.

Pay It Forward: Give education opportunities by supporting scholarships for underprivileged children through the EEF costing 2,500 baht per scholarship, at thamdee.com/projects/scholarship2022, from now until Dec 31. Donations are tax-deductible.

Share It Forward: Donate cash to support the purchase of sports equipment and school supplies by making e-donations, QR code payment via CENPAY, donating a gift starting at 10 points up to 5,000 points with unlimited redemptions, or donating to the Tiang Chirathivat Foundation account, Bangkok Bank, Silom Branch, account number 118-0-58203-1, from now until Dec 31. Donations can also be made directly at donation boxes at 225 information counters, cashiers and redemption counters at Central department stores nationwide from Dec 16 to Feb 15.
