Help kids this Christmas with Siam Piwat
Siam Piwat invites people with a kind heart to bring smiles to young students in remote areas and make this gift-giving season memorable for them during “Gifts For Them: Power Of Giving, Let’s Offer Educational Opportunities”.
The campaign is part of the group’s “Citizen Of Love By Siam Piwat” contribution project, which is held annually with a mission to operate a business that benefits the general public, communities and society.
The project is also aimed to help elevate the quality of life by providing opportunity and fostering equality in society, which will ultimately promote the country’s sustainable development.
This year, members of the general public are invited to donate stationery gift sets or their unused school supplies to needy students. They can drop off the stuff at the “Gifts For Them” boxes, which are erected at two branches of Loft — on the 2nd floor of Siam Discovery and 3rd floor of Iconsiam. Also, they can choose to purchase their choices of new learning tools prepared as gift sets by the shop for donation.
Held in collaboration with Border Patrol Police Headquarters, the campaign was launched last week, which saw young student representatives from Border Patrol Police schools participating in a mini painting workshop at Siam Discovery where they enjoyed learning painting techniques with renowned illustrator Somnuek “Parn” Klangnok.
Big smiles that shone out from their little faces while they were proudly showing off their finished works might fill the hearts of many. It felt good to see that the boys and girls were happy using a new set of coloured pencils to create a beautiful art piece of their own.
The “Gifts For Them” box accepts donation items from now until Jan 31. After that, Siam Piwat will join in donating more educational supplies and deliver all of them to 26,577 students at 220 remote schools throughout the country.
