Local wisdom meets leading fashion

-

Good Goods, a brand of local wisdom products, has teamed up with Issue, Thailand’s leading fashion brand, to create a special collection of locally inspired products with a modern twist as part of their mission to preserve Thai expertise.

The goal of Good Goods is to create accessible, high-quality and reasonably priced products. It is also dedicated to enhancing the capacities of local wisdom products to propel them to the national arena, in addition to helping with community employment and i mproving the standard of living. The proceeds from the sale of products are directed towards community development to preserve local culture.

The collection features clothing, bags, hats and sandals. The primary motif of the shirt product line features the Good Goods logo, which is an elephant, and carp, and it also appears modern due to its vibrant colours. The raw materials for the handbag product line come from the community enterprise network, such as reeds wrapped in twine, and bags embellished with crochet pieces in the Rajakanya Crown Flower ( dok rak) pattern.

When all components are combined, the products become more appealing. The hat product line comes in two shapes: a bucket shape that can be worn on either side, and a cap. The Rajakanya Crown Flower and Good Goods logo motifs are featured in both types of hats.

The collection is now available at three Good Goods shops: the flagship store at CentralWorld, the Good Goods store at Jing Jai Market in Chiang Mai and the Good Goods store at Central Phuket Floresta. Visit m.me/aboutgoodgoods for more information.
