ZEYNEP TERZIOGLU NAMED ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER OF BURGAN BANK

Zeynep Bozkurt Terzioglu has been appointed Assistant General Manager of Burgan Bank responsible for financial affairs. Terzioglu started her career as analyst at IBM Business Consulting in 2004. Before joining Burgan Bank, she worked as Chief of the Audit team at PwC Turkey and as Financial Coordination Manager at Akbank. Terzioglu served as HSBC’s Financial Control Manager for two years and Senior Manager in Financial Control, Group Reporting and Tax for four years. From 2018 to 2021, she was the Head of the Financial Coordinating and Reporting Department at Akbank.

BAYER CROP SCIENCE APPOINTS ISILAY TABAK AS MENA & TURKEY MARKETING LEADER

Isilay Tabak, previously the Customer Experience and Strategy Lead at the Agricultural Products and Vegetable Seeds Department of Bayer, has been appointed Marketing Lead of the MENAT Region of Bayer Crop Science. Tabak completed her bachelor’s degree in Economics at Bogazici University with Honors and holds a master’s degree in marketing. She has over 15 years of experience in marketing in different sectors and has been working at Bayer for seven years.

Hayri •zturan has been appointed General Manager of ITUN•VA Technology Transfer •ffice (TT•), which was established in January 2014 by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) as the interface for technology transfer. •zturan graduated from ITU’s Department of Aeronautical Engineering in 1997. He worked for the Turkish Air Force, Bosch, Idelab, and Turkish Tecnic in quality, costumer, operation and program management. Reaching a total project volume of TRY 256m in 856 projects carried out with 680 academicians to date, ITUN•VA TT• secured a place at the center of R&D and innovation.

Yunsa, the integrated high-segment wool fabric manufacturer, was awarded the TPM Excellence Award by the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) for the “Total Productive Maintenance” activities it has been carrying out since 2012. Yunsa became the only textile company in Turkey to receive the prestigious award. CAGLAYAN CETIN BECOMES PRESIDENT OF TRENDYOL

Caglayan Cetin has been appointed the President of Trendyol Group, according to a statement from the company. Cetin will lead new strategic initiatives, investor relations and overall growth strategy. Cetin is the co-founder of Dome Group, the first Turkish investment bank based in London. Cetin has 20 years of experience in the global finance industry. Prior to his new position, he worked as Managing Director and Head of Goldman Sachs Turkey as well as co-head of Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA) Corporate Investment Banking Coverage at Deutsche Bank.
