HUMAN LANDSCAPES FROM KARS

Fotoğraf sanatçısı A. Kadir Ekinci bir kez daha memleketi Kars’ı sanatseverlerle buluşturuyor. Kars’ta yaşamın bir parçası ve en önemli ticaret merkezlerinden biri olan hayvan pazarının nostaljik yapısını, yeni yerine taşınmadan önce fotoğraf karelerine taşıyan sanatçı içinden geldiği toplumsal kültüre sanatın diliyle tanıklık ediyor. “Mal Meydanı” başlıklı sergi 2-21 Şubat tarihleri arasında, İstanbul’da, İFSAK sergi salonunda gezilebilir.

Photography artist A. Kadir Ekinci is presenting Kars, his hometown, once again to art lovers. Capturing the nostalgia of the livestock market - a part of living in Kars and an important commercial activity - in snapshots before it was moved, the artist bears witness to the social environment of his past through the medium of art. The exhibition titled Mal Meydanı can be seen at the IFSAK exhibition hall in Istanbul on February 2-21.
