Tourism Professionals Gathered in Istanbul
Türkiye’nin ilk ve tek MICE (toplantı, kongre ve etkinlik endüstrisi) fuarının altıncısı “ACE of M.I.C.E. Exhibition by Turkish Airlines” 20-22 Şubat’ta Türk Hava Yolları sponsorluğunda İstanbul Kongre Merkezi’nde yapıldı.
The sixth ACE of M.I.C.E. Exhibition by Turkish Airlines, the first and only MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) fair in Turkey took place under the sponsorship of Turkish Airlines at Istanbul Congress Center between February 20 and 22.
2019 yılı etkinlik ve toplantı bütçesi 20 milyar TL’yi aşan firmaların ağırlandığı etkinliğe 41 ülkeden 200’ün üzerinde satın alma sorumlusu ile 500’ün üzerinde yerli profesyonel ve 15 binden fazla ziyaretçi katıldı.
‘Connecting Dots’ mottosuyla gerçekleşen etkinliğin Speakers’ Corner bölümünde deneyimsel pazarlama ve deneyim tasarımı, destinasyon pazarlaması, etkinlik teknolojileri ve e-spor temaları ele alındı. Markaların iletişim yöneticileri Kurumsal İletişimciler Derneği Paneli’nde buluşurken
Rusya, Güney Kore, Sırbistan, Güney Afrika ve Abu Dabi gibi destinasyonların turizm otoriteleri ve kongre büroları Destinasyon Pazarlaması ICCA panelinde bir araya geldi. 41 ülkeden 200’ün üzerinde satın alma sorumlusu ile 500’ün üzerinde yerli profesyonelin katıldığı etkinlikte konuşan

Held under the motto “Connecting Dots” the event’s section titled “Speakers’ Corners” focused on experiential marketing and experience design, destination marketing, event technologies, and e-sports. The brands’ directors of communication gathered at the Association of Corporate Communicators Panel while the Destination Marketing ICCA Panel brought together tourism authorities and congress agencies from destinations such as
Russia, South Korea, Serbia, South Africa, and Abu Dhabi.
Turkish Airlines SVP of Domestic Sales Emre Menevşe gave a speech at the event, which was attended by over 200 buying managers from 41 countries and more than 500 local professionals, emphasizing that the airline brings millions of tourists to Turkey every year with its service quality. He restated that a new era began in Turkish aviation and tourism industry with Istanbul Airport and said that they will carry Turkey to its desired point in congress tourism.
The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) Chairman of the Board Firuz Bağlıkaya said, “We’re confident that we will achieve our goals in 2019. In fact, the feedback from the fairs clearly shows that we will positively revise our goals as we did in 2018.”
