$11.3 billion - EXPORTS

Exports in January rose 18 percent year-on-year to $11.28 billion, TurkStat said, while imports rose 15.9 percent to $15.59 billion for a foreign-trade deficit of $4.3 billion. The import coverage ratio of exports increased from 71 percent to 72.4 percent. According to a provisional statement issued by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), exports in February 2017 were $11.296 billion, an increase of 5.1 percent over the same period last year.
