+12.8% REAL ESTATE SALES

Residential sales in Turkey were 95,389 in January, up 12.8 percent from the same month the previous year. Istanbul had the highest share of residential sales, with 15,807 housing units sold (16.6 percent). This was followed by 10,686 units (11.2 percent) in Ankara and 5,665 (5.9 percent) in Izmir.
