Turkish millionaires migrate
According to a study by New World
Wealth, a global market research firm based in South Africa, the number of millionaires leaving their countries rose to 82,000 last year from 64,000 in 2015 worldwide. Turkey is among countries where such capital migration is occurring. The number of millionaires who left Turkey last year reached 6,000. Reasons given for immigration from Turkey include seeking a better education for children and personal security. Australia, Canada and New Zealand are the most preferred destinations.
