SMEs offered credit of 11 billion lira

Zero-interest loan support payments are being issued by the government to small and medium-sized enterprises. As of March 1, 460,167 enterprises will benefit from the support, providing 11 billion lira of investment in the market. Enterprises with annual net revenue less than 1.345 million lira can borrow up to 50,000 lira. The first year of the three-year zero-interest loan will also be non-payment. Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said the measure would not undermine fiscal discipline. “We are going to a referendum, but we follow the economy seriously, we never neglect fiscal discipline. We are not fussing with the nation’s resources by using the election period as an excuse,” he said.
