FinMin to take steps to facilitate tax compliance
After reducing taxes for regular payers by 5 percent, the Finance Ministry is now planning regulations to ease the tax burden for businesses. According to Finance Minister Naci Agbal, his ministry will provide draft regulations to the parliamentary Planning and Budget Commission to enable the direct registration of taxpayers’ (especially small retailers) records electronically. This will reduce bookkeeping costs throughout the year. Authorized bookkeepers will be able directly enter the data.
