Domestic borrowing with foreign currency is not allowed

A new addition has been made to The Capital Markets Board declared that “exporters established in Turkey were not eligible to issue domestic borrowing instruments in a foreign currency” and did not put into operation Aktifbank’s application for a bond issue of $20 million. The decision was made public in a statement made by Aktifbank to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
