Turkish poultry production up in February
Turkey’s hen egg and ch cken meat product on rose n February, compared to the same month last year, the Turk sh Stat st cal Inst tute (TurkStat) sa d on Fr day. Accord ng to Turkstat, hen egg product on n the country ncreased 3.7 percent year-on-year n February. However on a monthly bas s, t saw a decrease of 8.4 percent. “Ch cken meat product on decreased by 8.2 percent n February compared w th the prev ous month, and ncreased by 7.8 percent compared w th the same month of the prev ous year,” TurkStat sa d. TurkStat added that turkey meat product on jumped by 91.9 percent n February compared to the same month last year.
