... Erdogan is very angry because during the June 24 elections he said that if he manages the country himself, without any interference, everything would be very good. But it did not happen. The management of one person did not work and began to drift into chaos that was not seen in the history of the economy. Erdogan is in a panic now. Obviously, his confidence in the people around him is completely over. He thinks everyone around him is an enemy.

Now he is looking for people to accuse for the crisis. He is thinking of evading responsibility by saying: “It was not me.” Well, what difference does it make? If the Central Bank is responsible, will we be out of crisis? On the contrary, Erdogan’s accusation of this or that in anger will further deepen the crisis. ... First, they said that there was no crisis and that the foreign powers are jealous of Erdogan therefore manipulated events. Now they accept the existence of the crisis but they are trying to get people to think that “this crisis is not ours, it will be over soon.” First the President speaks against interest rates. “But then,” he says, “if markets want to do that, let’s let them and see.” Nearly half of the nation believes it and, almost enslaved by the propaganda, which is: “We must go hand in hand to repel the attack of the whole world.” This is a summary of the recent days and a summary of the “independent Central Bank” literature.
