FIRST YUAN-BASIS SWAP WITH CHINA

As part of the swap agreement renewed in 2019 between the Central Bank of Turkey (CBRT) and the Central Bank of China, the first disbursements of the Chinese Yuan (CNY) funding were made on June 18. Turkish companies operating in various sectors made their payments with Chinese Yuan in imports from China through the banks, according to the CBRT statement.
