Mugla’s white marble is now registered as a geographically unique as a result of the Mugla Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (MUTS•) efforts to increase the branding of its regional products. •nce the designation is finalized, it will increase the number of products exclusive to Mugla to 12. The Kavaklidere walnut is expected to receive its geographical degignation soon. The region needs to protect its products as they are rich in history, according to Mustafa Ercan, Chairman of MUTS•.
