The fair was generally ineffective and without success. The reason for this is the timing mistake. We’re trying to sell stones on the eve of the Diwali Festival. Such a mistake made on top of the current global economic problems in the market rendered the fair ineffective. I cannot even count ten different Indian companies! There were so few Indian customers that Chinese customers seemed more dominant. I’ve got the feeling that the fair is losing its mission. My observations make me think that participation may decrease significantly. Unless a thorough change is made, the fair’s future won’t be so bright.
