Kromaş has increased exportation with the partnership of German Rösler
Kromaş, active in Turkey for 25 years in the surface finishing sector, has increased its import by partnering with the German company Rösler. Exporting to 20 countries, this year the company aims to receive the fruits of the investments made to the USA market in 2017. Tayfun Sığırtmaç, the General Manager of Kromaş, stating that they have been gradually growing for the last three years and doubling up their turnover, said: “For the last three years we have produced technology in the field of ‘surface finishing’ with an annual growth of 30 percent and we continue this acceleration of growth. The important factor here is RD and innovative studies”.
Explaining that they provide high added value products to the market as a result of the partnership with the German company Rösler, Sığırtmaç said that they expected to return of the investments made to the USA market in 2017. Mentioning that they had a fruitful 2017 in terms of turnover, Sığırtmaç told they increased the sales by 35 percent compared to the previous year. Pointing out they aim to increase thee turnover by 30 percent this year, he emphasized that they would like to increase the rate of export in turnover from 30 percent to 50.
Underlining that they spare 3 percent of the turnover to RD studies, Sığırtmaç said: “We work on a project to explain the implementations related to surface finishing and the added value created. We aim to create a blog page with audiovisual and training materials and provide it to the industry within this year. This blog will be a platform, where any technical information can be found related especially to sanding and surface with vibration. We plan to make use of the global network of Rösler and technical archive treasury of 100 years”.
“Production is possible without investment on infrastructure”
Stating that production is possible without investment in infrastructure with the current technology Sığırtmaç said: “Whatever you would like to produce, you can get a product prepared for use by combining it with the powder of raw material. Surface finishing Technologies with an important stance also in this field is one of the subjects we dwell on recently. Because Additive Manufacturing products require a surface finishing process before the final use”. Sığırtmaç, explaining that there are a high number of surface finishing processes carried out manually, said that the current processes were performed with full automated systems in Germany. Stating the need of increase in interest of especially the new generation to industry, Sığırtmaç mentioned; “Need for qualified intermediate staff, increasing production and activity costs, increase of productivity in incentive systems are the main problems of the sector are the main problems of the sector”.
