Bursa International Block Marble Fair will be held in 24-27 October

Blok marble manufacturers will gather together for the fourth time in the Bursa International Block Marble Fair in 24-27 October. Hosted by Tüyap, it is aimed that the fair will be visited by over 20 thousand people. Under the organization of Tüyap Bursa Fair Organizations and Bursa Chamber of Trade and Industry (BTSO) and with the cooperation of Mine Marble Manufacturers’ and Industrialists Businessmen (MADSİAD), the fair is coming to affront as the only specialized fair for block marble in Turkey.

Bursa International Block Marble Fair, for which an intensive interest is exhibited by the leading companies in the sector for participation, contributes significantly to the increase in figures of export and development of market share growth. Stating that the fair has come to an important point with the contribution of BTSO and MADSİAD in a very short time as three years, İlhan Ersözlü, the General Director of Tüyap Bursa Fair Organization said 215 companies had participated to the fair in 2017 and 20 thousand 988 sector professionals had visited it, and this year the aim was the visit by over 20 thousand people.

Stating that they have increased the fairground by 20 percent for the high interest this year, Ersözlü said: “We increase the fairground capacity, which was seven separate halls and open areas, and with a total of 50 thousand square meters, where around 2 thousand block marbles were exhibited in 2017, to 60 thousand square meters by 20 percent with the newly added prefabricated structure. As such we can have almost 2 thousand 500 block marbles in 650 different patterns and colors extracted from different quarries in Turkey”. Ersözlü expressed that Bursa International Block Marble Fair, which was the heaviest fair of the sector with 60 thousand tons, would increase also in terms of participating company numbers by 20 percent with the new hall addition.

High participation is expected from China and India

Stating that they will host in Bursa sector professionals from around 50 countries, with China and India taking the lead, where sector trade is dynamic through the coordination of foreign offices of BTSO and TÜYAP İlhan Ersözlü expressed: “Sector trade is efficient not only abroad but also within the country. Bursa International Block Marble Fair, where there are visitors from over 40 cities, will continue to feel the pulse of the sector as a brand fair with the business volume it will create for four days”.
