TEKNOFEST İSTANBUL 2019 İçin Geri Sayım Başladı The Countdown Has Begun for TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL 2019

Geçtiğimiz yıl ilk kez düzenlenen ve 550 binden fazla ziyaretçisiyle dünyanın en büyük ikinci havacılık etkinliği olan TEKNOFEST İSTANBUL Havacılık, Uzay ve Teknoloji Festivali, 17-22 Eylül 2019 tarihlerinde Atatürk Havalimanı'nda gerçekleştirilecek.

Organized for the first time last year and the world’s second biggest aviation event with more than 550,000 visitors, TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL Aerospace and Technology Festival will take place at Atatürk Airport between September 17 and 22, 2019. Türkiye’nin teknoloji üreten bir ülkeye dönüşmesini hedefleyen ve “Millî Teknoloji Hamlesi” sloganı ile yola çıkan TEKNOFEST İSTANBUL; Türkiye Teknoloji Takımı Vakfı, T.C. Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı ile İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi yürütücülüğünde Türkiye’nin önde gelen teknoloji şirketleri, kamu kurumları ve üniversitelerin destekleriyle düzenleniyor.

Sponsorluğunu Türk Hava Yolları’nın üstlendiği World Drone Cup, Travel Hackathon ve Uçan Araba Tasarım Yarışması gibi birçok etkinliği içeren TEKNOFEST İSTANBUL gençlere ve ziyaretçilere yüksek teknoloji, havacılık ve uzay alanlarında pencereler açtığı gibi nefes kesen jet uçak, helikopter ve akrobasi gösterileri, konserler, dikey rüzgâr tüneli, planetaryum, paraşütle atlayışlar ve hava araçları sergisiyle eğlenceli saatler de yaşatıyor.

Türkiye’nin bilim ve mühendislik alanlarında yetişmiş insan kaynağını beslemeyi hedefleyen TEKNOFEST İSTANBUL kapsamında, gençlerin geleceğin teknolojileri üzerine çalışmalarını desteklemek için 19 farklı kategoride teknoloji yarışmaları düzenlenecek ve kazanan takımlara toplamda 2 milyon TL’nin üzerinde ödül verilecek. Aiming to transform Turkey into a country that produces technology and organized under the theme “National Technology Effort,” TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL is held in collaboration with the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, the Republic of

Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. It’s also supported by prominent technology companies, public organizations, and universities in Turkey.

Home to many events such as World Drone Cup, Travel Hackathon, and Flying Car Design Contest sponsored by Turkish Airlines, TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL not only opens new doors to high technology, aviation and aerospace for the youth and visitors, but also witnesses fun moments with jet planes, helicopters and acrobatic performances, concerts, a vertical wind tunnel, a planetarium, parachute jumps, and an exhibition of air vehicles.

Aiming to contribute to Turkey’s human resource in the fields of science and engineering, TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL will also host technology contests in 19 categories to support youth enterprises in regard to future technologies, offering a total money prize of over 2 million TRY.
