Sick Passengers and Expectant Mothers

Hasta yolcunun seyahat edebilmesi için hastalık türünü belirten ve hastalığın yolculuğa engel olmayacağına dair son 10 gün içinde alınmış doktor raporu gereklidir. Bakıma muhtaç olan yolcu, refakatçi ile kabul edilir. Tek bebeğe 28-35 haftalık hamile yolcuların (28. haftanın başı, 35. haftanın sonu) kendi doktorundan aldığı “Uçak ile seyahatinde sakınca yoktur.” ibaresi yer alan raporu ile uçuşa kabul edilir. 36 hafta ve üzeri hamile yolcular doktor raporu olsa dahi uçuşa kabul edilmez. İki veya daha fazla bebek bekleyen yolcular, 28. hafta32. haftaya (28. haftanın başı, 31. haftanın sonu) kadar doktorundan son 7 gün içinde alınmış "Uçak ile seyahatinde sakınca yoktur.” ibaresi yer alan raporu ile uçuşa kabul edilir. 32 hafta ve üzeri yolcular doktor raporu olsa dahi kabul edilmez. Tüm doktor raporlarının üzerinde raporu düzenleyen doktorun adı, soyadı, diploma numarası ve imzasının bulunması zorunludur. A doctor-provided medical clearance for sick passengers dated at most 10 days prior to the date of departure is obligatory. Passengers requiring special care are only allowed to fly under the condition that they are accompanied. Passengers who are 28-35 weeks pregnant (early days of the 28th week and last days of the 35th week) and who are expecting one child are allowed to travel with a report obtained from their medical doctor which bears the expression “The passenger is fit to travel by air.” Pregnant passengers, who are 36 weeks and more, are not allowed to travel even if they have obtained a medical doctor’s report.

Passengers expecting two or more children are allowed on board between weeks 28 and 32 of pregnancy (early days of the 28th week and last days of the 31st week) with a medical report dated up to seven days before departure, which bears the expression “The passenger is fit to travel by air.” Pregnant passengers, who are 32 weeks and more, are not allowed to fly even with medical clearance. All medical reports must bear the full name, diploma number or equivalent, and signature of the doctor.
